And 42% of teens don\u2019t know they can develop unhealthy habits due to stress.<\/p>\n<p>However, according to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.seattlechildrens.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Seattle Children\u2019s<\/a>, stress and anxiety can be greatly reduced in teens by limiting screen time, establishing a daily routine, and talking with someone about how their feelings.<\/p>\n<p>Health professionals advise teens that seeking resources out at school is a good way to get help.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think within the school system I know that counseling services and school counselors are a really great resource for kids working through mental health issues that might be manageable in that setting,\u201d said Danni Pinnick, the Immunization Surveillance coordinator at HHS.<\/p>\n<p>If you or your teen is having a mental health emergency you can reach for help by calling 988.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\"><strong>Introduction to Stress for Teens- a free AIS-certified course <span class=\"s8\">to\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s8\">learn about<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"s8\">the relaxation<\/span><span class=\"s8\">\u00a0response and manag<\/span><span class=\"s8\">ing<\/span><span class=\"s8\"> everyday stressors.
